Privacy policy

Short version for OpenDecisionsAPI (opendecisionsapi.com).

What we store

• Account email and sign-in credentials (managed by our shared auth backend).
• Input-token balance and usage ledger entries (decision runs, API calls, purchases).
• API keys you create — shown in full once, stored so we can authenticate calls.
• A browser fingerprint string used only to issue guest trial sessions.

What we do with playground input

Text you run in the playground or send to /v1/decisions is forwarded to the TypeSafe Jev upstream to produce an answer. We log the token cost, not your content. Don't paste secrets, credentials, or personal data into the playground.

Payments

Checkout is handled by the payment provider (Stripe). We never see or store card numbers.

Analytics

If analytics are enabled, we collect anonymous product events (page views, button clicks) via a self-hosted OpenPanel instance. Analytics are disabled on localhost and for crawlers.

Contact & deletion

To delete an account or ask a question, contact us via the site. Deleting your account removes your keys and stops billing; ledger records needed for accounting may be retained in anonymized form.
